Where are UI/UX designers getting their ideas these days? I mean, actually. Echo chamber, sure, and plenty of makes-sense-to-me bullshit, but is there some kind of school? a secret society? a book they all read?
Wherever it is, that's where we, as users, need to intercede to interrupt the BS production. Some designers will care and some won't, but they all need to be given incentives to actually respond to what users want/need. Because their ego-driven design is not working.
