I've used #kiwix and backed up #wikipedia and have it running #selfhosted. I then create an #AI #agent #hermes skill to access kiwix via API. So now, I can use a fully #local model with #ollama that has current world knowledge without using the internet at all. Totally #offline. 🙂 #selfsufficiency

Probably better to have a smaller battery, based on average usage. Add more later if needed.

Also seek out bi-directional charging solutions and use your EV as additional storage capacity. An ID.4 would have 80kWh capacity. 8 days of additional backup for your home. And if a real crisis, you can charge elsewhere and bring more energy back home.
