Psammodromus algirus (fam. Lacertidae)

[EN] This lizard remained still while I was taking photos of it and the ant was walking on its body. I think this species is "docile", they are easy to photograph because they don't hide inmediately when they are scared and they let you approach a lot if you move slowly.
It is a mediterranean species, distributed in North Africa and Southwest Europe. I love its "spiky" scales.

Timon lepidus (fam. Lacertidae)

[EN] I saw something blue moving on the road and, although I thougth it was a plastic moved by the wind, I stopped to watch it. It turned out to be a beautiful ocellated lizard, wich has its burrow in a hole just on the road. Its colour is more intense than in the photo.
Photographed with the mobile phone and the binoculars at a distance of 8 meters.

A Rough-scaled Sun Skink (Eutropis rugifera) spotted on the side of a tree at MacRitchie Reservoir Park, Singapore on 29 Sept 2024. An uncommon forest skink with overlapping scales that give it its rough appearance.

A Dusky Earless Agama (Aphaniotis fusca) spotted at Upper Seletar Reservoir Park on 22 Sept 2024. Initially thought it was a Draco (flying dragon), then I realized its body lacked the elongated ribs and skin typical of a Draco.

Good to spot a seldom seen forest lizard.

Gorgona Blue Anole (Anolis gorgonae), male, family Dactyloidae, only found on Gorgona Island, Cauca, Colombia

Little is known about this elusive (possibly rare) lizard, as it lives high in the trees of dense rainforest.
They may be threatened by introduced western basilisks, and other non-native animals.
Unlike most Anoles, the females are as colorful as the males, which have bright white dewlaps.
