Schatten.

The day before yesterday, we took a quick look around the area near our holiday accommodation on Lake Eder. I must take a few photos one of these days in the small, secluded village where we’re staying. If you walk from the village to the Sengelsberg - a mountain hardly anyone knows, I guess - you pass these two trees. In principle, nothing spectacular. Unless, that is, the sun is directly behind them and you get to see these magnificent shadows.

Si tratta di vasche scavate nel tufo vulcanico da cui è possibile drenare i liquidi mediante canali di scolo.

Questi singolari manufatti di origine etrusco-romana erano probabilmente utilizzati per la pigiatura dell'uva, la macerazione di erbe o il trattamento dei tessuti.
