These are "Blue Velvet Snowballs", kind of a #cookie version of #RedVelvetCake. I adapted the recipe from a #FoodNetwork recipe. It's another one that's easy but I only make this time of year.
#Baking while keeping an eye on a puppy means nothing is turning out how I want this year, but I'm keeping in mind that it's the thought and #tradition that counts. My kids are 14 and 17 years old now, so I potentially only have so many more years before they go off to start their own traditions, but I hope they will always come back for cookies from mom.
Also, yes, that ornament is a painted #BlueCrab shell because I will always be a #Maryland dude in my heart.
