Okay, #NewYork voters, especially #democrat voters, it’s time to talk.

Early go-to-polls voting starts tomorrow. We all know what’s at stake in the general election, but there’s more than the presidency at risk.

First, be sure to vote down ballot. #Harris needs some votes for sure, but keep in mind that Sen. #Gillibrand and a slew of #USHouse candidates need your support as well.

Second, abortion is on the ballot in New York as #proposition1 . #prop1 is designed to protect the rights of groups that Republicans seem to like to target. A Yes vote enshrines abortion rights in the state constitution, and protects the rights of women, immigrants, and LGBTQ+ folk.

This needs your help. Conservatives have been using the “protect women’s sports” transphobic dog-whistle to try to attack Prop 1. It needs your help, it needs your support, and it needs your yes vote.

In #California please VOTE NO on #Prop1 . As someone who has struggled to recover from mental illness, as someone who is a resister & activist, and as someone who is queer, I can tell you with 100% confidence that Proposition 1 will be used to put people like me in "mental health prison" like was done to Britney Spears and many others with less resources to fight it (and look what was done to Britney).

Please VOTE NO on #Proposition1 in California.

For any other #California voters who are confused about CA's #Prop1 (on the ballot for the current primary #election), we've been recommended to vote NO by a local nonprofit.

It reallocates budget money from "do useful things" to "build buildings/beds". While that's not a bad thing, it's not enough money to make a significant change. Additionally, it reduces the flexibility of your local organization and ends up being a net-negative in solving #homelessness.
