Distraction from mobile phones in the real world is bad. Distraction while you're driving is worse.
I feel I'm the last of a generation. None of the cars I drive regularly have these sorts of cameras an notifications (unless you count the camper van with a reversing camera) But I think this sort of thing is standard on most new cars now...
