If you can PLEASE sign this petition, so that we can stop the Spanish government classing hunting dog like Podencos and Galgos as livestock. They are already kept/used in horrific situations and this will just make it easier for hunters etc to treat these beautiful dog even worse.

Die Qualen der spanischen Windhunde

In Spanien endet jedes Jahr im Februar die Jagdsaison mit Windhunden, den Podencos. Nach Jahrhunderte alter Tradition töten die Jäger dann schätzungsweise 50.000 Jagdhunde. Die schwächsten Tiere, die älter als drei Jahre oder verletzt sind. Ein Brauch, der die Europäer schockiert: Die Tiere werden gevierteilt, erhängt oder bei lebendigem Leib zerstückelt.

Mr bayLee took his first real backward step yesterday since starting at Canine Health & Hydrotherapy a year ago. A good massage and some loxicom, and he seems more mobile and himself today.
