Nice 10k out thru a forest on trail and track, with the help of Cypress Hill and their Black Sunday album. Shocked that I still, 33 years later, remember the lyrics. No rap battles won and I'm glad that we didn't see a sole on route ;)

Good morning 🌞
Started today's run in the dark.
Wore my hydration vest, without the water bladder, but took a small soft flask with electrolytes.
The reason for the vest, is because I have clip on lights for it, which are really neat, it makes a change not to wear a headlamp.
15k - nice muddy trails and filthy puddles, the slop from Friday mornings sandy rain.
HR kept creeping up, dunno why? I didn't feel it RPE wise, perhaps I was peckish.

Grand 10k that became 12k because of cows on the trail. I also for some reason unbeknownst to even myself, I decided that it would be a good idea to "send it" on the first part. The trail was great but the surface was very uneven and just drained me. So after I had to detoured around the cows and a farm track that has been plowed away. I was drained and didn't have much left for the last 2km back to HQ, since for another reason I forgot to drink and fuel up beforehand. Other than that great run and would love to run more around here.

Well that's what I call good timing and love. Arrived back at HQ after 8k and this was handed to me by the beautiful lass. A perfect day running around a forest and farmland
Not something I'm used to, run 3.5k in a straight'ish line and I can still see where HQ is parked up. Normally 100m into the run and any sign of HQ is gone. Today's run was among farm fields and orchards, sadly the wonderful smell of the wildflowers under the trees were impossible to enjoy because of the massive pig farms <gags> else it was enjoyable and I could see the snow capped Pyrenees in the distance where we will be in a few days.

Morning ☀️
A little late leaving this morning, but I needed my head torch due to the clock messing, still it was a nice run all the same. One day maybe we won't have to keep changing the clocks - wouldn't that be good!
Anyway, I did the turn back at the halfway point, mainly to keep it as off the main road and on the trail as much as possible, it was a little nippy start to the day with the morning temp at 10°c, so no hanging around.
5k around a bird sanctuary, this area of Spain is so full of Storks that they have to live in highrises ;)
Tomorrow we are in Amber wind warning so I think it would be a good day for a rest day, before I try out a more technical and longer run. Leg should be recovered by then as it felt very good today.

Another steady and easy she goes run on some farm track and forest roads that ended up on the rail trail again. Leg is feeling good, but I shouldn't be tempted to "send it" just yet, a few more easy runs before going off road again, is the safe option here.

Morning ☔🌧️🌬️🌈
A vicious north westerly wind, brought driving rain, a little Sahara sand from across the Mediterranean.
Midway through my stretching as the rain hammered against the glass, I wondered if the rain might stop - it did stop, but 10 mins from the end, pah!
Today I stayed very local, turning a 5k loop into 11km, by going around and around.and up and down. It was kinda fun, with some unintended repeated hills, and very very wet!
Just a wee gentle run along a rail trail, not pushing hard yet. But there was some jumping over a stream, battle through some undergrowth and a visit to a wee Ermita to test out if the leg is better. When walking it's all good, but running down hill it still moan. So it is clearly worse than what I thought and need a few more "easy does it" days to get fully mended. Lovely running here would like to come back an try out the more technical and longer routes/trails up in them there hills.
