@rticks we should #taxtherich until all caring professions are funded at a wage high enough to create savings and pay all living expenses: childcare, elder care, teaching, cleaning, sanitation, nursing , food prep, water & sewer, environmental care, IT security and maintenance… it’s a long list of underfunded jobs that keep us safe and happy.

And for the mental health of obese capitalists because #Pleonexia is a mental disorder that cripples its victims & destroys civilizations.

Illich defined conviviality as “autonomous and creative intercourse among persons, and the intercourse of persons with their environment.” He contrasted this to “the conditioned response of persons to the demands made upon them by others” from above and afar in the name of advancing progress.
