My favourite #plantoftheday at #Westonbirt was this amazingly eye-catching #rhododendron augustinii, with glowing violet blue flowers. As a species, it can be quite variable, but the Westonbirt specimens are spectacular.

I have added it to my 'must have' list.

A friend brought me this bizarre plant from Estonia. It doesn't need soil and has to be lightly sprayed with water once a day. It's usually greyish white but turns ivory white when watered. Been growing at an incredible rate, just hanging there from a window in sunlight. Does anyone here know more about this?
