Visiting our friend Jack

A beautiful day here in New Jersey.

Parking at a familiar place, where someone special resides.

We saw them from afar and I called to them, “Jack! Jack!”

Jack is the old guy on the left. He’s been on these grounds at least 15 years. I’ve blogged about him before. I don’t know the names of the other horses, but when I called to Jack, they all came galloping towards us. The dark brown one really loved the attention and kept nuzzling us to pet him some more!

And then we hit the beach; so nice before the Memorial Day crowds hit next weekend!

#WeirdCarMastodon: Saw a #PTCruiser with a #Dutch number plate and an oddly shaped tailgate, looking like the rear window was extruded, but in a smooth way. This modification seems to be specifically made for the #Netherlands where you pay less tax for vans, station wagons and half-buses where like half of the space is dedicated for cargo. Usually this is achieved by a higher roof.

@BitchinRob @lionelb I somewhat approved of the retro design of the #PTCruiser and the #ChevroletHHR initially.

Then, sadly, I rented each of them seperately for a few days. Someone even stopped in a parking lot, sporting a huge grin of delight, to ask us if the HHR was any good.

Compared to the 2003 VW Golf we owned at the time they were truly horrendous little cars in every way possible. At least, that was my assessment.
