@John I endured to see what they said about SA then Freedom Boy turned up and that was enough.😉

#Libs are now seen as useless with petty infighting consuming them and policies only negative, no future planning only personal self enrichment.

Suspect it is very optimistic to imply 'protest votes' account for #PHON success. It is more serious than that, there are many malcontents only too pleased to support racism and guns, such as the sovereign citizen rabble. PHON bangs the drum that immigrants are the reason, which is nonsense, but they want to believe it.
People are rightly frightened by this present world and the instinct to shut it all out of Australia is not unnatural. They forget that PHON
supported and encouraged exactly what has caused this to happen through #USA and #Israel warmongering.
But also many strugglers disappointed and disillusioned with #Labor broken promises. Just a few examples:-
They see big companies like Colesworth making huge profits while cheating on so called 'bargsin ' prices, while they can't cover cost of groceries, can't even dream of a roast on Sunday.
People still having to work multiple shifts to support families then seeing MPs cheat with expenses. MPs having multiple houses through neg gearing etc while they struggle to pay rent.
Families broken by gambling yet children still exposed to ads at every TV sport aired.
Hopes for Aged Care and NDIS improvements shattered by new cost cutting systems and rules making for hardship of increased expense and loss of previous services.
Labor better take this as a strong warning, not a triumph. #Greens have serious work to do nationally.

WTAF is wrong with voters in these constituencies?
Are they all filled with the same venomous hate as the ignorant Pauline ?

I am beginning to think that the only way out of this #PoliticalDuopoly is to punish #Labour, renounce the shift to the right by crushing #PHON and the #LNP forcing any remaining majority (presumably what’s left of Labor) to ally with #Greens and progressive #INDies to form govt. And keep this up for three parliamentary terms so the electorate can get used to more diverse and #Inclusive representation in both Houses. We might then truly get ‘the govt we deserve’ not one imposed by the #msm #propaganda machine of the #FilthyRich.

#PHON have no real policies, just a lot of complaints. I want to see supporter ask how they plan to implement their agenda!

If there is anything worse than voting #PHON (on moral and ethical grounds alone, never mind policies and capacity to act in the common interests) it’s voting for a #Narcisyst #Libertarian #Ideologue like #Barnardi. Just don’t #SA.

Barnaby Joyce says One Nation will be 'number one in many' SA seats

Federal MP Barnaby Joyce is predicting a big primary vote for One Nation at this Saturday's South Australian election, but lead candidate Cory Bernardi would not be drawn on how many lower house seats he hoped the party would win.

Ahhh, well played #ABC… spin the environmental disaster that this algeal bloom poses days before the polling booths open… well, given that you are so into #BothSideism in you reporting I look forward to some juicy embarrassing titbits on the #Libs, #Nats and #PHON, and any other #IND you can throw dirt at.

I really wish there was some analysis reporting on the #Policies all candidates are taking about because the rest of the msm surely won’t, but I guess that is too much to hope for from mediocre reporting.

#ThisIsNotJournalism. The ABC ought to be about #Informing the public and helping electors to make an informed choice at the ballet box, not about an climate induced and dangerous natural phenomenon that science is hard pressed to contain (as if a policy/legislation could ever eradicate that problem).

What do we have to do to get journalists/editors to do a half decent job of it? Ppffftttt.

This is what I miss the most, strong #Unionism without criminality and corruption (aka with constitutional and legal oversight).

“Breaking people into identity groups and having them fight each other has always played into the hands of the powerful because it undermines the more material bonds of class that unite us. When trade unions were stronger, they could provide a counterpoint by driving solidarity across race and gender from the shop floor up, championing material benefits such as equal pay, universal healthcare and super. As those networks have weakened, so has that consensus.” (Peter Lewis in The Guardan

Pauline Hanson’s populism is a joke. But there are lessons in it for ‘super-progressives’

Recognising much of the party’s support to be a vote against the status quo could prove a blueprint for Labor – if it can avoid the pitfalls
