#Kosovo's left-wing ruling party #Vetëvendosje (Self-Determination Movement) won the country's snap parliamentary #election on Sunday, although its vote share fell compared with the previous election in December 2025, according to preliminary results.

With 97.2% of polling stations counted, Prime Minister Albin #Kurti's party had 43.1% of the vote, the electoral commission in #Pristina said.

“Former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has tabled an amendment to the Armed Forces Bill to ban the entry of foreign soldiers from countries that are subject to war crimes investigations.

But the vote will only go ahead if the amendment is selected by the House of Commons Speaker, Lindsay Hoyle.

The move follows Declassified’s investigation earlier this year which found more than 2,000 British citizens have served in the IDF since October 2023”
