Don’t get your hopes up. Without access to classified information (for national security reasons as well as political — read Cabinet papers — reasons) the Community Commission will be dismissed as uninformed and proletarian drivel by main stream media (aka #Murdocracy, #StokesMedia, etc.) and decision-makers alike.
Still, stoking the fires of community angst against #secrecy and #politicalObfuscation is not a bad thing at all. #AUKUS ought to be part of the #PublicDebate and the powers that be ought to be held #Accountable for their decisions. Public horse trading for decent social services and the welfare of our environment is worth every battle we enjoin.
Another worthwhile #Petition that we should all sign. Some think that petition acheive very little, and that may be true in isolation. But a war is never about a single battle and every scirmish advances the chance of winning the war.
In any case, what does signing a petition really cost you? Start your #rebellion with small acts that together grow to make a difference.

Sure, #AlboPM is the best of three evils (#Labor, #LNP and #PHON) but there are alternatives if voters bother to think about it longer than a couple of minutes. And, I get your point about #SkyNews but would also point out it’s free to air everywhere. Here again, if voters were to think for more than a couple of minutes, the #Murdocracy wouldn’t have such a hold on their lazy brains.
Sorry if I sound harsh, but choosing a lesser evil rather than working to get better representatives into #Parliament is just apathetic #democracy and there is an enormous price to pay for such #complacency.

Jonathan Holmes has written an excellent piece on Murdoch media’s targeting of Louise Milligan. It’s not just the hypocrisy of the attack, but the disinformation involved.
