Is the MCU datasheet wrong?

It says:

CLXTAL1 = CLXTAL2 = 2*(CLOAD - CS)
For CLOAD, it is crystal/ceramic load capacitance, [...] For CS, it is PCB and MCU pin stray capacitance.

Okay. Then I found AN100 from TI which uses the classic:

CLOAD = C1*C2/(C1+C2)

If I assume that C1 includes both the cap and stray capacitance, I get:

Ccap = 2CLOAD - CS

That's a difference of a whole CS!

Where's the mistake?

#FollowerPower : Does someone by any chance know an USB controller supporting 2 RX and 2 TX I2S lanes on a single controller? 🤔 The Infineon claim 2xI2S but turns out they mean a single I2S per direction unless their SDK for the FX5 and up series is broken (It only has the ability to select one I2S device). I have 2 I2S TDM capable Audio CODEC chips I want to connect. They are pcm3168a chips and I want to run them at 192kHz 24-bit (so 32bit data frames). I need 2 I2S lanes as otherwise physics would need to break ;) (cant do more than 8 channels over I2S TDM... And these codecs have 6-in/8-out.)

I am considering having 2 USB connectors but since USB audio spec 3.0 claims 32 devices there must surely exist a chip allowing me to actually wire this. But I am not finding any other than the infineon chips even providing direct I2S on their USB controllers.

Due to latency obviously the whole thing MUST provide DMA as it must be (near) realtime.
