« I thought I’d escape my fate (again) » — J’ai cru échapper à mon destin (à nouveau) —, un installation de l’artiste plasticien libanais Walid Raad (وليد رعد) autour de l’invisibilisation artistique de la guerre à Gaza.

Everyone is celebrating Eid visiting relatives and giving children Eid gifts…
As for us, we sit in our tent, watching from afar.
Not because we don’t want to feel joy, but because we have lost our homes and our source of income.
We hope for help https://chuffed.org/project/144437

Mohammed's first child is Gaza's future: help make him healthy, clever and strong.

I'm Marguerite, a good friend of Mohammed, who is/was a teacher in Gaza. School stopped on October 8, 2023 and so did the lives of many of his students. His dream was to restart a school, in a tent, but this isn't possible yet, so his life has been devoted to the survival of his mother, sisters, new wife and soon to be born son.

Heal Minds Gaza: empowering Palestinian children who were in detention

Palestinian children in Israeli occupation prisons face severe psychological violence that deeply impacts their sense of safety, identity, and community after their detention. The Heal Minds Gaza initiative aims to address this issue through a mental health intervention for 80+ children who were detained in Israeli prisons. The program will support children’s healing through research-informed therapeutic activities focusing on emotional release, social integration, and life skills. By creating a safe space for expression and learning, the initiative will empower children to heal, rebuild their identity, and reintegrate into society.

"Ignore me… like everyone else does. But first, take a minute: I'm a girl trying to provide medicine and food for my father, and every day I'm afraid it will pass without me being able to help him. It might seem simple to you… but for me, it's a matter of life and death. If you could help with $10, it could change a whole day for us 🙏"

Islam and Family in Gaza: Rebuilding Hope After War

Islam lives in Gaza with his aging parents and large family. At 37, she shared her life’s work as a dedicated teacher, running a small educational center since 2013, bringing joy, learning, and hope to many children. Her days were built on love, daily routines with students, and the sense of purpose that comes from helping others thrive. When war struck, everything changed.

Germany reversed its earlier pledge to support Israel at the ICJ in the Gaza genocide case. Despite that it previously backed Israel, Berlin will now abstain, citing its own ICJ case with Nicaragua over violations of international law, including support for Israel’s assault in Gaza.

That case already exposed Germany to growing scrutiny over its arms exports to Israel and its suspension of funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA).

Although the ICJ declined in 2024 to order emergency measures against Berlin, it allowed Nicaragua’s case to proceed, leaving Germany to continue defending its conduct before the court.
