Full disclosure, I don’t know what’s exactly happening:

Driving my companion to his PT appointment half an hour ago, we witnessed a large number of people, some in some types of uniform and the rest of the majority in green t-shirt with big-eye-alien’s face on it, gathered at the spot by the Old Las Vegas Highway where a lot of seemingly Mexican vendors congregate.

Our immediate reaction was: these are ICE or some group who are pro-deportation.

I hope that was nothing and we were wrong about the speculation. But this is the world we are living in right now. It’s scary and even legal immigrants fear for their future..

The last Hummingbird, for now. Have been following the nest building, egg laying, ... of a female Hummingbird at the Nature Center. This is the last photo of her feeding the second hatchling just before it fledged. I confess, I missed the final day to be at the Zoo with my spouse. When I got back, the nest was empty, then disappeared the next day. The entire cycle took place over 43 days - a remarkable experience.
