Whether it’s ICE’s brutal and unconstitutional occupation of Minneapolis, slashing health care and food assistance from millions of Americans, billionaire wealth growing by $1.5 trillion in 2025 while 60% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck, or another illegal and costly war in the Middle East, we must stop the authoritarian attacks on our democracy. On February 28th, Trump and Israel’s right-wing extremist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, began an illegal, premeditated and unconstitutional war in Iran. Thirteen US soldiers have been killed along with at least 1,300 Iranians, including 170 children killed in a missile strike on a girls elementary school in Southern Iran. Trump’s war in the Middle East has already cost the American taxpayers $22.8 billion. For $22.8 billion, we could provide Medicaid to 6.8 million kids, build 2.6 million public housing units, fund Head Start for 1.3 million, hire 240,000 teachers, and cancel $20,000 in student debt for 1 million borrowers. Now the Pentagon is asking for $200 billion more for the war. Americans of every political persuasion don’t want kings, and they don’t want war. Americans want decent-paying jobs, health care, and housing that they can afford. Join us for this phone bank to urge your Member of Congress to end the war with Iran. We will be calling into key Congressional districts to urge voters to make patch through calls to their Member of Congress.
