Ich brauche mal wieder das Schwarmwissen des Fediverse:

Ich habe Nextcloudpi direkt auf die an meinen Raspi angeschlossene externe HDD installiert um den Schwachpunkt sdKarte zu umgehen.
Natürlich läuft die die Platte jetzt 24/7 im Gegensatz zur Installation auf der SDcard, da springt die Platte nur an, wenn Daten ausgetauscht werden.
Was meint ihr?

NextcloudPi ist weiterhin ein tolles Projekt:

- Nur SD-Karte/USB-Stick mit dem Image versehen. Fertig. Sofort kann die neueste (Winter-)Version im Browser aufgerufen werden - ohne dass man SSH bemühen oder Datenbanken konfigurieren müsste.

- "riesiges" Verwaltungsbackend:
Einhängen von Speichermedien, automatisierte Backups und Updates (auch der Datenbanken), SSH, Samba, NFS, Formatierung von USB-Medien, fail2ban, DNS-Verwaltung, https ...

#Nextcloudpi 1.57.0 is out, bringing #Nextcloud 33 + some improvements.

Notably:

Manual and automatic NC updates will now check for enabled Nextcloud apps that are incompatible with the new version and abort if any are found.
This can be disabled from the #ncp web interface (under nc-update-nextcloud/nc-autoupdate-nc) and is enabled by default.

The custom and outdated fork of previewgenerator has been dropped in favor of the latest upstream version.

Considering to migrate my RBPi5 from #NextCloudPi to #Yunohost. My Nextcloud data directory is on an SSD, the system boots from MicroSD. Can I just boot Yunohost, install Nextcloud, point it to my SSD and trigger file indexing? Or is that a bad idea and needs further prep?
