I'm looking for some trustworthy background & context on #WSocial, that allegedly up-and-coming Twitter-killer I don't see anyone talk about. Is it federated? Does it interoperate with the #Fediverse or #ATProto?
I packaged 97 of my media entrepreneur case studies into an ebook spanning 558 pages and over 200,000 words. I'm pretty confident there isn't another book on the market that's packed with this many insights for how to build a successful content business.

You can download the ebook over here: https://simonowens.gumroad.com/l/nextmediamoguls
If you’re in your car in traffic and you see people moving smoothly on bikes in a protected bike-lane, or a full bus zooming past you in a bus-only lane, sure you could be mad at them for moving faster than you, or you could be someone who understands geometry and knows that providing mobility choices that take less space makes getting around cities better for EVERYONE.

I have been working on #Obsidian Reader for over a year. I didn't want to share it until I felt it was good enough. It's finally there.

Consistent formatting for any article. Outline, syntax highlighting, nice footnotes, adjustable typography.

Congrats to @wikipedia on its 25th anniversary! Really enjoyed hanging out with Team Belgium in #Brussels today.

„The tiredness is not a character flaw. The guilt, the sense that you should be handling all of this better, was manufactured. It was placed inside you by an industry that profits from your participation and a wellness culture that profits from your shame.“ www.terrygodier.com/the-last-qui...

Researching my next #Linux laptop and considering an M1 Macbook Air (16GB) for its great screen and built quality. How solid is #asahilinux running on that machine? Besides retina displays, I care a lot about smooth trackpad scrolling and solid support for multi-touch gestures. How are those working out in @AsahiLinux today? Opinions much appreciated!

@zenbrowser is so beautiful, innovative, and useful -- a great example of how a clear product vision can really add value even to a mature code base like #Firefox. Great work!

@nw @CoMaps osm.org is, confusingly, not really trying to be a web map service, more of a simple showcase for the underlying data.

https://osmapp.org may be better suited for that purpose :)

OsmAPP

An open-source map of the world based on the OpenStreetMap database. Features a search, clickable points of interest, in-app map edits, and more!

I love #openstreetmap but I don't love the web interface -- is there an alternate with a better UX that makes #osm as pleasant to use in the browser as @CoMaps makes it awesome on mobile?
