The "Equivalence" hurdle is a #scam. If you aren't from the #EU, your degree is treated as suspicious. Authorities look for any "significant difference" in curriculum to force a brutal exam covering everything from surgery to law in above C2 German. Doctors are stuck in low-paid "assistant" roles for years (which are not even counted towards residency) while waiting for a test date. It’s a waste of human potential.

This is not a future threat. Over 35% of active physicians are now 60+. In simple terms: 100,000+ doctors exit by 2030 and labor capacity that the current education pipeline cannot replace. We are watching a slow-motion wreck of public infrastructure.

This year, Solve M.E. and #MEAction are partnering together to move ME/CFS from “optional knowledge” to “standardized knowledge” in clinical care. We will be engaging state-level patient safety, regulatory, and public health officials about the lack of standardized education and training on IACCs (such as ME/CFS and Long COVID) for clinicians. This lack of training is creating a medical gap in which patients are experiencing more debility and prolonged care interventions, which then leads to poor patient outcomes, increased disability cases, and higher unemployment rates. Why I got asked how much time nutrition is taught in the course: "A group of 53 medical schools pledged to increase the amount of time spent on medical students' nutrition education starting this fall, HHS announced Thursday...Under the initiative, the 53 medical schools across 31 states will require 40 hours of comprehensive nutrition education or competency equivalent before graduation, he said."
