Trump today is defending ICE's actions last night and threatened to invoke the insurrection act.

Trump loyalist have pointed to the fact that US District court choose not to issue an emergency restraining order this week, making the likelihood of US court intervention before the end of the month a fantasy.

Local news station FOX9 had a decent explainer on Trump's threats this morning.

And more so than in other cities, i think, #police and others recruited to be the #displacement machine are doing so not because of a #culture of #harassing #houseless people (although #MayorFrey is doing his best to inculcate that attitude), but due to top-down directives and initiatives.
