Notizie sconvolgenti arrivano dalla Cisgiordania.
Ghassan Gharib Hussein Zahran, 14 anni, colpito a morte con una fucilata alla schiena da un militare israeliano.
È accaduto ieri in un villaggio a ovest di Ramallah.
La dinamica è agghiacciante: Ghassan stava giocando a calcio con altri due bambini, tre militari israeliani a bordo di un veicolo civile hanno fermato l’auto a una distanza di 100 metri poi hanno sparato proiettili veri verso i tre bambini. Ghassan è stato colpito alla schiena da un proiettile che poi è uscito dall’addome.

I genitori di Ghassan e gli abitanti del villaggio si sono precipitati a soccorrere il bambino ma un gruppo di coloni ha iniziato a lanciare pietre contro i soccorritori, i militari israeliani hanno aperto il fuoco contro i residenti del villaggio per impedire di raggiungere il bambino che è rimasto sanguinante a terra per ben 20 minuti dopo i quali un’ambulanza ha trasportato Ghassan in un ospedale di Ramallah dove i sanitari hanno constatato il decesso del bambino.

Secondo i dati raccolti da Defense for Children International, dal 7 ottobre ad oggi sono stati uccisi 137 bambini solo nella Cisgiordania occupata.
Nello stesso luogo, da gennaio 2023 fino al 7 ottobre dello stesso anno sono stati assassinati dai militari o dai coloni ben 121 bambini palestinesi.
Quattro bambini sono stati uccisi in un colpo solo con un missile lanciato da un elicottero Apache di fabbricazione statunitense.

They never found his head, & buried him without it. He was wearing black pants & an orange shirt when he was killed. His left leg was amputated in the blast.
His father used to call him “bobba” or “baby” because he was the youngest of his siblings. Ahmad used to call potatoes “baba tata” & he called shekels “tetels”
His mother, his sister Houda, his sister Arkan, were all martyred that night. Houda & Ahmad were put in the same body bag.
His brothers, Muhammad (13) & Yamin (8) both saw his body that night. They’re both visibly traumatized & can’t talk about their little brother without bursting into tears.

PALESTINA L’attacco israeliano sull’al-Ahli lascia Gaza City senza cliniche, tre pazienti muoiono nel cortile: «Il corpo di mio figlio bruciava, la schiena sanguinava, urlava dal dolore». Stallo nel negoziato al Cairo

A quasi due giorni dal bombardamento israeliano dell’ospedale battista Al-Ahli di Gaza City, i feriti arrivano lo stesso. Se ce li abbiano portati perché non sapevano fosse ormai un cumulo di macerie o perché speravano che qualche reparto fosse ancora funzionante, è difficile dirlo. Non hanno trovato né medici né infermieri, non hanno trovato più l’ospedale.
L’ISTITUTO CRISTIANO è stato colpito dall’aviazione israeliana nella notte tra sabato e domenica, alla vigilia della domenica delle palme. Poco prima l’esercito ne aveva ordinato l’evacuazione immediata. Agli sfollati, i sanitari, i pazienti e i loro familiari ha concesso una manciata di minuti, 18 per l’esattezza, per scappare.
Mentre i missili cadevano sopra il pronto soccorso, chirurgia e radiologia, sopra la farmacia e la stazione dell’ossigeno, mentre l’ultimo ospedale funzionante di Gaza City si accartocciava su se stesso, nel cortile morivano tre pazienti. Un bambino per il freddo, due adulti perché avevano bisogno dell’ossigeno per sopravvivere.
Yousef Abu Shakran, padre di 29 anni, ha stretto tra le braccia il figlioletto Mohammed, cinque anni e ustioni di terzo grado sulla schiena e sulle gambe, subite durante il raid israeliano che la scorsa settimana ha provocato una strage a Shujaeya.
È corso fuori dall’ospedale il più rapidamente possibile: «Il suo corpo bruciava, la schiena sanguinava, urlava dal dolore. Le ferite di tanta gente si sono riaperte, ho visto i familiari di una ragazzina con danni alla spina dorsale che tentavano di alzarla dal letto, ma era pieno di calcinacci». «Siamo usciti dall’ospedale e pochi secondi dopo è stato colpito da due missili, hanno fatto tremare la terra – ha raccontato Abu Shakran ad al-Jazeera – Erano le 2 di notte, non avevamo idea di dove portare nostro figlio. Soffriva e sanguinava. Non ci sono cliniche, non ci sono ospedali».

SUHAIB È TORNATO tra le macerie della sua casa nel quartiere di Zeitoun sulle spalle del fratello. Mezz’ora di strada. Non riesce a camminare, ha una gamba spappolata. L’attacco all’Al-Ahli è stato «giustificato» da Israele allo stesso modo: era un centro militare di Hamas. Nessuna prova e l’ennesimo chiodo sulla bara del sistema sanitario gazawi.
L’ospedale battista è uno dei 36 ospedali della Striscia distrutti o danneggiati dall’offensiva israeliana dal 7 ottobre. Ne rimangono in funzione 21, fa sapere l’Organizzazione mondiale della Sanità.
Un ospedalicidio che fa il paio con il blocco totale degli aiuti umanitari (cibo, medicine, tende) in vigore ormai da un mese e mezzo e che sta ammazzando lentamente Gaza.
Un insieme di pratiche che sta provocando reazioni globali. Si fermano però alle dichiarazioni, senza che seguano misure concrete. Tra queste quelle dell’alta rappresentante Ue agli esteri, Kaja Kallas, nota per la sua vicinanza alle posizioni israeliane ma che ieri ha definito le azioni di Tel Aviv sproporzionate. Più di così non riesce a fare, nonostante i massacri siano quotidiani (quasi 51mila i palestinesi uccisi dal 7 ottobre 2023, a cui si aggiungono 14mila dispersi stimati) e negli ultimi giorni in particolare abbiano preso di mira la cosiddetta «zona umanitaria» di al-Mawasi.
IL FAZZOLETTO di terra lungo la costa meridionale, ridotto a tendopoli, non è mai stata risparmiata dall’esercito israeliano. Ma è tanto più odioso che venga bombardata quando è in corso l’ennesimo sfollamento forzato da Rafah e Khan Younis: gli ordini di evacuazione emessi dall’esercito israeliano spingono famiglie prive di tutto verso una zona che sicura non lo è stata mai. Non è una novità nemmeno questa: da mesi esperti e analisti spiegano bene il significato di «zone sicure», aree in cui la popolazione viene concentrata e poi colpita, pratica che molti leggono come volta a rendere Gaza invivibile, senza speranza, dove non esiste altra alternativa che andarsene.
È quanto avviene a Rafah, circondata su ogni lato e per metà – come dimostrano le immagini satellitari – sotto il totale controllo dell’occupazione israeliana, impegnata in queste ore nella costruzione di una nuova strada che – si immagina – dovrà collegare il corridoio Morag a sud con il Netzarim, al centro.
Israele avanza con il chiaro obiettivo di occupare a tempo indeterminato pezzi di Gaza palestinian-free, mentre al Cairo i tavoli del dialogo non producono risultati. A dare conto dello stallo sono stati ieri i negoziatori, Qatar ed Egitto, dopo la partenza del team di Hamas che ha bocciato ieri la proposta egiziana (45 giorni di cessate il fuoco) perché prevede anche il disarmo del gruppo. Un’altra bozza (che sarebbe stata proposta dallo stesso Israele e a cui Hamas aveva dato iniziale consenso) prevede il rilascio di dieci ostaggi israeliani e informazioni certe sugli altri 48 in cambio di 45 giorni di tregua.
Il tutto all’interno di un quadro che resusciti la seconda fase del precedente accordo, stracciata dalla rottura israeliana della tregua, lo scorso 18 marzo, e che avrebbe dovuto condurre alla fine dell’offensiva. Intanto all’Afp, un membro del politburo del movimento islamico rilanciava la proposta iniziale: tutti liberi in cambio del cessate il fuoco permanente, l’ingresso degli aiuti e il ritiro delle truppe israeliane.
A NETANYAHU però non interessa porre fine alla guerra. L’opinione pubblica israeliana lo ha capito, gli ostaggi sono sacrificabili. La reazione monta tanto più dopo il 18 marzo e le prime vere crepe attraversano l’entità che più di altre tiene unito il paese, l’esercito: dopo la lettera di centinaia di riservisti, ieri ne è giunta un’altra a chiedere la fine dell’offensiva, firmata da 1.525 soldati.
È di ieri anche l’appello di 3.500 professori per «il ritorno degli ostaggi anche al costo di porre fine alla guerra». Perché il punto, nella stragrande maggioranza dei casi, non è il genocidio dei palestinesi ma la perdita di fiducia verso la leadership politica.
