Palestinian woman from Gaza, Noor Abu Nada, says that after two years of war, she accompanied her child to the sea. The little kid had never seen the vast horizon nor the blue of the sea.
He was amazed by the immensity of the water and made only one comment: “It's Not Bombed?” Noor says that his remark felt as if the war had changed the order of questions in the heart of childhood.
Despite that the sea remains the only refuge for Gaza people, the Israeli naval forces killed 232 fishermen during the war and, at certain times, completely barred fishermen and entire people from accessing the sea at a time famine was striking the enclave.
