The Ministry of Health in Palestine has stated that the number of martyrs in Gaza has risen to 72,939 since the start of the war.
According to the ministry, since the ceasefire in October 2024, 930 Palestinians have been martyred and 2,819 others injured, and the bodies of 781 martyrs have been recovered from the rubble.

At least 33 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip since the eve of Eid al-Adha, amid ongoing Israeli violations of the fragile US-backed ceasefire.
