ich bereite gerade einen urlaub vor, dafür packe ich gerne alte #wrint-folgen auf meinem #mp3Player und markiere mir orte/ziele auf eine #Papierkarte, ich will im urlaub nicht ständig das handy in der hand haben...
jetzt habe ich genau jetzt mein mp3 player verlegt und vom reiseziel keine #Landkarte..
kein ding, hälste in der Tankstelle und Rasthof, da gibts ja welche!
Gesagt getan:
Ich: "Moin, sagt mal, habt ihr #Reiseatlanten?"
Verkäufer*in: "HAHAHAHAHA,, NEE! Schon lange nicht mehr! LOL!"

Okay, dann schnell in ein MediaMarkt, das zweite Problem lösen:

Ich: "Tachchen, ihr habt doch bestimmt noch MP3 Player?!"
Verkäufer*in: Pfff muhahaha... Diggi, vor kurzem noch 2 in der Kinderabteilung, aber das will ja niemand mehr!"

Naja jut... dann bin ich jetzt auch offiziell alt und verschroben 🙃

Now I updated it with much more recent music I'm currently listening to.

The amazing thing is, this player also plays ogg files, which was not common at the time. It was the reason I bought it. I ripped all my CDs to ogg back then.

And it has a mic and a line-in to record and encode stuff. Nothing special for today's phones but amazing in 2004.

Finally got my FAKE POD NANO! I thought I'd post some pics of it. I really love this thing so much... Going without one for so long was rough. Since the #Tangara isn't currently obtainable, it's definitely a pretty reasonable alternative to that. Testing it out on the amazing @[email protected] of course, in some old Sennhesier Urbanites

I configured a DLNA server for my movies and music on backup. Now I want the White Noise MP3 player to recognise it.

But I also want to watch a couple old recordings with my wife.

I butchered the Codeberg Translate installation for White Noise, I have to fix that first.

I have an extensive collection of vinyls and their respective FLAC backups. I just noticed that my go-to music player (Melody, written by Artem Anufrij) is some 6 years old.

Learning Vala now, so that I can update it to Gtk4 and add a couple features I'm craving for.
