Go Ninja Go! This is more kid friendly than the first movie (complete with slapstick sounds and a lack of weapons for fighting) but you get a decent continuation of the first film with a great cast, excellent music and creature effects that stand up. The first movie is superior but this is still a great watch. As stupid as it is the highlight of the movie for me is the Vanilla Ice Rap with the Turtles beating on baddies I wish they didn't cut that Professor Perry was an Utrom and I do wish they kept things more serious

An interesting reimagining of the Mario Bros world as a dystopian alternate reality ruled by dinosaur descendants. Plenty of nods and mentions of the game lore spun into this lived in world. Sadly, great ideas do not entirely save this film which does feel a bit uneven. Further compounding things is that people really wanted a Mario movie and this is such a radical tonal shift from the games.
