Lacks the stylistic flair that upholds better satires. Is it a choice that Joan’s bedroom is so dark? Hard to tell. Liberal hypocrisy certainly deserves the skewering this delivers, but I worry that there’s an anti-trans stance waiting to be dug out, especially when the doctor is so keen to find younger patients.
