Les Invalides, also known as the Hôtel des Invalides, is a remarkable complex of buildings located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, France.

The Hôtel des Invalides was originally established in the 17th century during the reign of Louis XIV. It served as a place for veterans who had faithfully served in the royal army.
This multifunctional institution was a hospice, barracks, convent, hospital, and factory all rolled into one. Over 4,000 boarders lived within its walls.
Today, the Hôtel still fulfills its initial purpose by housing the Institution Nationale des Invalides.

Gilded Dome: The complex is instantly recognizable due to its famous gilded dome. This architectural marvel stands out against the Parisian skyline.
Musée de l’Armée: Within Les Invalides, you’ll find the Musée de l’Armée, which houses one of the most exceptional military history collections in Europe (and perhaps the world!).
Tomb of Napoleon I: A significant highlight is the Tomb of Napoleon I, where visitors can pay homage to the legendary French emperor.
