A bit of improvisation. My larger earrings get in the way on my displays for the Saturday Market. So I salvaged the light bulb cover from a shed at the back of the house (the fixture no longer has power), and took a grinder to it. With the old paint and rust removed, it's all shiny, and makes a fun little display for larger earrings. This 20 inch necklace is finally finished. Inspired by Hellenistic era apotropaic eye beads, but with a selection of more transparent colors than one would find on ancient examples.
