I wrote a post about how I impressed my friends in high school with an analysis of photos of electric guitars. In the post below. Enjoy!

They say March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has noted that this particular March came in like a lion and, honestly, went out like a lion, too. #amblogging #amwriting #goals #lizcultivates

November has been a mildly chaotic time (unsurprising for this time of year, especially for us). A short update in anticipation of the end-of-year holiday season. #amblogging #amwriting

I finally went to the Mothman Museum in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. Here are some thoughts about cryptids. Why the heck am I so enamored by him? #mothman #cryptids #amblogging

I finally sat down and wrote a longer update, since I hadn't done one since August (oops). I'm still finding joyful activities that refill my cup, and promising myself that I'll sleep later. #amblogging #amgardening #travel #inspiration

Tonight I took a quick and overdue count and it turns out I’ve passed my goal of posting 36 new blog posts in 2025 (not counting the 51 posts to wrap up my third novel). #Goals2025 #WritingCommunity #AmWriting #AmBlogging
Some thoughts on the cumulative nature of life, burnout, and saying ‘no’

The right question would be: What’s not worth my “yes”?

To Do Lists Are Amazing

A couple of days ago, I wrote about how awesome it feels to get things done, and the satisfaction that comes with completing things you want to do. I wrote about that as if it were a new feeling, but one of the ways I keep myself motivated is by allowing myself a little taste of that satisfaction each day — no matter how productive I really am. Since January 1st, 2020, I’ve been keeping a to-do list every single day. I have recurring tasks on there and ones that only need to be completed once. I’ll admit to often checking off things on the list that I haven’t actually done, but for the most part, keeping a list has really helped me stay on top of things.
