Making blue things lately, perhaps because the weather is cooling (at least by southern New Mexico standards). I used transparent cobalt blue and emerald green glass to make the beads. With a few concessions to modernity, this is a copy of an ancient Roman glass bead necklace of the 2nd or early 3rd Century. It's long, at 21 inches. Something new in both my Etsy shop and Ko-fi shop. I used earth tones on these opaque beads, rolling them on a corrugated metal surface while they were red hot, creating the spiral surface texture.
