Scientists have discovered a new genus of sauropodomorph dinosaur in China, named Xiangyunloong fengming. The partial skeleton, dated to the Early Jurassic, reveals a significant connection between early herbivorous dinosaurs and the giant sauropods of the Mesozoic.
