#DidYouKnow that #Massospondylus is a genus of the #sauropodomorph #dinosaur that lived in southern #Africa during the Early #Jurassic period, between 201 and 184 million years ago.

It was described by Richard Owen in #1854 and is one of the first dinosaurs to have been named.
