That's why they abbreviate a Community of Practice as "CoP".

One highlight I saw while testing the app: Be able to click on any graph that shows information and see details about a story.

We recently showed the OpenProject Jira Migrator in action. But what does it actually mean for your migration?

Our Jira Migrator is currently available under a feature flag and supports importing projects, issues, users, and more. We are also collecting anonymized data samples to improve the migrator across different setups.

Liebe Entwickler:innen, die noch manuell #Jira-Tickets lesen oder #Code-Schnipsel kopieren: Wacht auf! Claude Code ist ein Quantensprung. Keine erfundenen Libraries, keine stundenlange Fehlersuche.

The tool I’m working on is making good progress, and it finally has a name: Cylenivo.

It will enable teams to import stories, tasks, and similar items from Jira and other tools such as @openproject
and analyze your data from a flow perspective. It will help you detect where your bottleneck is.

It will be an open source app that you can install on Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Recently one of my Product Owners who learned that he can trust me called me.
He is a fearless guy with a long history in a specific IT topic, just some years until he will retire.

He was asking me what the in my opinion often passive aggressive product management might really wanted from him. He showed me a kind of process diagram from them. First we were wondering two minutes.

Turns out: They wanted that he should simply do Gantt #Jira planning for the next PI.

Requirements Management can be fun...

For tool and organisational reasons outside my influence I needed to change a lot of solution requirements from lifecycle state "in development" to "initially defined".

Product Owner accepted most of them already some months ago in his #Jira backlog without being able to read the full description!
Tooling chain for exporting to Jira is technical crap. Will take me at least 3 days to heal this situation.

I am doomed.
This will be maximum exhausting. And for sure suddenly some agile clever guy will influence in nice words decisions and propose even more crappy partly self made method stuff to product management which stops us even more from working.
I need to be prepared not to talk or correct people and always just smile and say yes.

On my current bingo card that I expect from my former Project experiences:
#okr, more templates, more #Jira tags with Bad explained meanings, more reports

Using requirements management tooling in large digital transformations is important.
Such tools and the organisational process around it can be really annoying.
Some don't see that the usual #Jira is just for driving the dev process and does not contain the single source of truth.
The backlog for the POs is filled by doing requirements engineering and defining solution requirements based on business requirements.
Recently this tooling broke down for a day. I had fun...(not)
