In some days I am the first time invited to the next level of #Scrumtheater

Management, product management, RTE, agile coaches, scrum masters, product owners, some enterprise tooling organisation process people and the release process team.

This is done since some weeks.

And now finally they thought about inviting #solutionarchitecture

There are 70+ people invited.

This will take three hours. It will happen every week. Status talks and moderated breakout sessions.

#SAFe #agile #scrum

I am doomed.
This will be maximum exhausting. And for sure suddenly some agile clever guy will influence in nice words decisions and propose even more crappy partly self made method stuff to product management which stops us even more from working.
I need to be prepared not to talk or correct people and always just smile and say yes.

On my current bingo card that I expect from my former Project experiences:
#okr, more templates, more #Jira tags with Bad explained meanings, more reports

I really need to prepare some stuff for the backlog of two product owners and their teams.
But this will stop me again.
In fact I am cleaning up requirements chaos done by...
Otherwise we will deliver things that cannot be accepted by the customer for compliance and contract reasons.
@marix1
Oh dear, my condolences. I feel you.
Amazing how they come up with concepts like ‘Big Room Planning’ and end up creating problems for themselves, which then require new roles like the RTE to solve.
If you feel like it, let us know how it went.

@marix1
Please do not call it #Scrumtheater if it is #SAFeTheater

SAFe has its own understanding from Scrum incl. own definitions without any link to the common Scrum Guide.

And: SAFe recommends Kanban too.

But to be honest: it is #ManagementTheater
It is the opposite of Scrum.

#Scrum #ScrumMaster #ScaledAgileFramework

@scrumschau fair, you are right. It is #SAFeTheater. Some years ago (before SAFe had been existing) I had been in a similar smaller situation with Scrum (acting myself as Scrum Master ). And in my current setting people mixing it up sometimes. So: now also myself... apologize for that.
@scrumschau true, there might be some management styles I am not a fan of.
@scrumschau I also had very good experiences with real #Scrum - but the bigger projects are in enterprises... it gets complicated.

@scrumschau in SAFe V6 there is the role of Scrum Master. Maybe they should call it SAFeMaster or leanMaster or simply Master in the future :)
To add even more complexity I am also in ITIL V4 - they also embrace the topic in a way if you need to do their certification.

Best I really liked when I was still a developer was the Agile Manifesto and really applying it.
