"Martedi', alle 8 pm Eastern time".

Tuesday at 8 PM. Trump’s ultimatum for the reopening of Hormuz.

Tuesday, at 8 pm Eastern time. In a final post on Truth, the American president Donald Trump gives an hour, without specifying whether it is the ultimatum given shortly before to Tehran or something else. In the previous post, the leader had warned Tehran that on April 7th “in Iran will be the Day of the Power Plant and the Day of the Bridge, all in one. There will be nothing like this!!! Open the cursed Strait, you crazy bastards, or you will live in hell - You’ll see! Praise be to Allah”, he had written. The new deadline, set at 8 pm American time, 2 am in Italy on Wednesday, would postpone Trump’s ultimatum to Tehran by one day. Trump has threatened to blow up Iranian energy sites if Tehran does not reopen the Strait of Hormuz, while simultaneously pushing the Islamic Republic to accept a U.S. proposal to end the war that would involve renouncing the uranium enrichment program – a demand that Iran has so far refused.

Meanwhile, the United States will not abandon the war “in the midst of the conflict.” The U.S. president, Donald Trump, declared this in an interview with Channel 12, adding that his administration is engaged in “deep negotiations,” conducted by envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, with Iran to reach a ceasefire. Two sources familiar with the talks told the broadcaster that there are two communication channels: one through the mediation of Pakistan, Egypt, and Turkey, and the other through direct text messages between Witkoff, Kushner, and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. The foreign ministers of the mediating countries are trying to get the parties to agree on a series of measures that would allow Trump to postpone the deadline. According to sources, they had telephone conversations with Kushner and Witkoff, but these did not yield the desired result. Trump told Channel 12 that there are “good chances” that an agreement will be reached before Tuesday’s deadline, “but if they don’t reach it, I’ll blow it up.” When asked if he was worried about harming civilians in Iran that he would like to see rise up and overthrow the regime, Trump replied that “they live in fear.” “They fear that we will go in the middle of the war, but we won’t,” he concludes.

"We are now staring at mounting evidence that the war with Iran was not just avoidable — it was actively avoided until it suddenly wasn’t.

The people who flipped that switch were not generals, diplomats, or even traditional policymakers with expertise. They were two men with deep financial entanglements in the Gulf: Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff."
