AGI - Una tregua di 45 giorni con l'obiettivo di arrivare alla fine permanente della guerra: è questo l'obiettivo a cui starebbero lavorando Stati Uniti e Iran con l'ausilio dei mediatori internazionali: lo scrive il sito Axios, citando fonti statunitensi, israeliane e regionali a conoscenza dei colloqui. Un accordo parziale nelle prossime 48 ore "è improbabile", scrive il sito, ma questo tentativo in extremis è l'unica possibilità di evitare una drammatica escalation nella guerra.
Come scrive il sito Axios che per primo ha dato i dettagli delle trattative in corso, la proposta che Iran e Stati Uniti stanno discutendo attraverso i mediatori regionali prevede due fasi, con una tregua di 45 giorni da usare per arrivare a un accordo finale di vera pace. E solo il testo di un'intesa duratura affronterebbe il tema della riapertura completa di Hormuz così come quello dell'uranio arricchito che Teheran possiede. 
Le proposte americane e la durata della tregua
Secondo fonti americane, l'amministrazione Trump ha mandato all'Iran diverse proposte negli ultimi giorni, ma finora Teheran le ha respinte. Il limite di 45 giorni di cessate il fuoco potrebbe essere esteso se fosse necessario più tempo per trattare la fine permanente della guerra.

Donald Trump ha spostato a domani l'ultimatum dato a Teheran per accettare un'intesa, pena massicci bombardamenti. E il canale è aperto. Pakistani, Egiziani e Turchi stanno aiutando la trattativa, ma continuano anche i messaggi diretti via sms inviati tra l'inviato di Trump Steve Witkoff e il ministro degli Esteri iraniano Abbas Araghchi.

As the Axios website, which first provided details of the ongoing negotiations, writes, the proposal that Iran and the United States are discussing through regional mediators involves two phases, with a 45-day truce to be used to reach a final agreement for true peace. And only the text of a lasting agreement would address the issue of the complete reopening of Hormuz, as well as that of enriched uranium that Tehran possesses.

American proposals and the truce duration
According to US sources, the Trump administration has sent several proposals to Iran in recent days, but so far Tehran has rejected them. The 45-day ceasefire limit could be extended if more time is needed to negotiate the permanent end to the war.

Trump’s ultimatum and diplomatic channels
Donald Trump has postponed until tomorrow the ultimatum given to Tehran to accept an agreement, under threat of massive bombing. And the channel is open. Pakistanis, Egyptians and Turks are helping the negotiation, but messages are also continuing to be sent directly via SMS between Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

"Martedi', alle 8 pm Eastern time". In un ultimo post su Truth il presidente americano Donald Trump dà un'ora, senza specificare se si tratti dell'ultimatum dato poco prima a Teheran o di altro. Nel post precedente il leader aveva avvertito Teheran che sempre il 7 aprile "in Iran sarà la Giornata della centrale elettrica e la giornata del ponte, tutto in uno. Non ci sarà niente di simile!!! Aprite il maledetto Stretto, pazzi bastardi, o vivrete all'inferno - Vedrete! Sia lode ad Allah", aveva scritto. La nuova scadenza, fissata alle 20 americane, le 2 di notte in Italia di mercoledì, posticiperebbe di 1 giorno l'ultimatum di Trump a Teheran. Trump ha minacciato di far saltare in aria i siti energetici iraniani se Teheran non riaprirà lo stretto di Hormuz, spingendo al contempo la Repubblica islamica ad accettare una proposta statunitense per porre fine alla guerra che prevederebbe la rinuncia al programma di arricchimento dell'uranio - una richiesta che l'Iran ha finora rifiutato.

Intanto gli Stati Uniti non abbandoneranno la guerra "nel bel mezzo del conflitto". L'ha dichiarato il presidente Usa, Donald Trump in un'intervista a Channel 12 aggiungendo che la sua amministrazione è impegnata in "profondi negoziati", condotti dagli inviati Steve Witkoff e Jared Kyshner, con l'Iran per raggiungere un cessate il fuoco. Due fonti a conoscenza dei colloqui hanno riferito all'emittente che esistono due canali di comunicazione: uno tramite la mediazione di Pakistan, Egitto e Turchia e l'altro attraverso messaggi di testo diretti tra Witkoff, Kushner e il ministro degli Esteri iraniano Abbas Araghchi. I ministri degli Esteri dei Paesi mediatori stanno cercando di far concordare alle parti una serie di misure che consentirebbero a Trump di posticipare la scadenza. Secondo le fonti hanno avuto conversazioni telefoniche con Kushner e Witkoff che però non hanno avuto l'esito sperato. Trump ha dichiarato a Channel 12 di credere che ci siano "buone possibilità" che si raggiunga un accordo prima della scadenza di martedì, "ma se non lo raggiungono, farò saltare tutto in aria".
