@SnowshadowII the towns you mention in Manitoba are in the Mennonite Bible Belt. I was raised Mennonite, and there are fine folks, but maybe not. I haven’t lived there, but #Indianhead #Saskatchewan seems like it lives up to the motto “A progressive prairie town “. I’ve also lived in Thunder Bay. Lots of good qualities, but battles racism, as others have noted. Maybe Brandon, Manitoba. Lots of immigrants from Mexico, so some fine Latin food and I love Brandon’s YMCA pool.

Shout out to the town of #IndianHead #Saskatchewan. I didn’t take a photo (because my fingers were frozen) but I stopped at my favourite bakery and art gallery (get off the highway and head to the town centre). There I was greeted by Fred (Freddie?), the puppy who is now a big goofy dog. Sorry, we don’t serve lunch, but the bakery across the street does and bring it back here. Perfect! Freddie, “trade a bite for my bone?”
