Why does Wikimedia have its own union? Is it an American thing to form a union for every single company? I've wondered the same thing a bunch of times following tech union news. Why is there a Rockstar Games union? A Riot union? Why aren't they all in one big tech sector union?
Is that normal in the US? They'd have much more significant leverage on labour rights and the economy as a whole if they all had one big union instead of many tiny company unions. And they'd be more difficult to sabotage.
That's so weird.
