I met some fine folks. Many 👍 from grateful drivers, including some who were obviously on the job. A number of angry supporters of fascism drove by yelling their leader’s name and giving us 🖕& 👎

The folks near me said they were at this same location in June and that this was a larger crowd.

New Hampshire court rules in clergy abuse case that 2020 law is not retroactive

The New Hampshire Supreme Court has ruled that the state's 2020 law abolishing the statute of limitations for filing sexual assault lawsuits is not retroactive. This decision Wednesday came in the case of Randy Ball, who sued the Roman Catholic Bishop of Manchester in 2023, alleging abuse by a priest in the 1970s. Ball argued his lawsuit was valid under the 2020 amendment removing the statute of limitations. However, the court ruled that retroactive application would violate the state Constitution. Justices acknowledged the vulnerability of child sex abuse victims but emphasized their duty to interpret the Constitution.
