cloudskaterI just finished Bubsy 4D from @fabraz. Sorry for @ing 3 times today (just kidding, let me praise your game, dammit) but I'm so grateful for the team's work on this title. I got 71% while playing through it casually, and I'm eager to get all the way to 100%. The life you guys have brought back to the character and universe has got me all emotional over here! Fans of the bobcat always knew he was something special, and now you've proven it to the world.
I always liked the original trilogy and Furbitten Planet, because under all the very real flaws was a character and gameplay style I loved more then any other. I can't stress enough how heartwarming it is to see old ideas brought back and expanded on and amazing new ones get added in. I love the bosses and their personalities, and the setup for the game as a whole. Didn't expect the final boss to be a three-against-one but it was such a welcome surprise! Everything in this game was a welcome surprise.
I know its weird to say "can't wait for the next one" about a game that just dropped, but I don't mean to sound impatient. Y'all have made a wonderful piece of art here that I'll enjoy continuously for years to come, but whatever lies in store for the bobcat, I hope he's firmly in your paws.
And thank you for putting it on GOG. Please continue to release games on it or other DRM-free stores!
My only real complaint: there is no official femboy Bubsy outfit and people had to mod it in.
