Raindrops on Iris

Wandering the garden this morning, after a night of rain (and before the next, forecasted, downpour) I spotted this single Iris beside the greenhouse (which is indeed green), covered in raindrops.

As I moved around it, the light changed and each droplet reflected or refracted in different ways. I went in for my macro and diffuser, and jollied my lovely co-pilot into holding a black cloth behind the flower.

Just a moment in time… imperfect and yet.
