It was edible. Not too un-tasty. But not the delicious meal I was working for.

First time cooking at home, after being away for so long. Got my mise en place all set, and the rest of cooking went smoothly. I used smoked trout this time, instead of salmon. Also used fresh fettuccine instead of linguini this time. I think I prefer the linguini. Still tasty!

I'm traveling, and sometimes it's too much to resist a snack of Oreos. And they remind me about how much better Newman-Os are. Seriously, they are so much better.

I don't eat a lot of sweets. So when I do, I prefer quality. Especially quality over quantity.

Searching is proving difficult, especially for finding info on if there is coverage outdoors.

Update: I asked before, and got great recommendations, but I'm finding the covered outdoors part difficult to confirm.

For my Mother's Day treat, we had take out from our favorite local Thai restaurant: Rin's Noe Valley. I very much enjoy their Larb, and I order it 'medium'...which is plenty hot for me (usually).
