This is my Mastodon dating post. I will begin with what I want in a partner and/or a friend and then explain a bit about myself. I am also considering this a second #introduction.

For the sake of honesty, Georgiana Brummell is not my legal name, but it is what I use. I live in New Jersey and am forty-two years old. I am seeking a man over sixty who is well-educated, well-dressed (suit/tie), confident, and witty. You need not be rich, but you should appreciate the finer things in life and strive for them when possible. I adore the voices, bodies, experiences, and company of seniors. Since this is clean, I will only say that I have no interest in bdsm or role play, and I prefer things soft below the belt, so do not worry if you're that way. I would prefer you to either live in or near New Jersey or to be able to visit me frequently if you don't, since I am seeking not only physical contact but also the joy of going out and doing things together. No married men (or those in monogamous relationships), one-night stands, parents/caregivers, workaholics, or recreational drug users. I am open to both fun with no strings attached and a committed relationship, but I must get to know you first. For friends, I am a lot more lenient. You can be either a man or a woman, should be over twenty-one, and should share at least some of my interests. You don't have to be single or live in or near New Jersey, though if you do, we could go places together. Please note that I have no understanding of depression, anxiety, mental illness, low self-esteem, etc. I also have no interest in politics or world affairs.

I love wit, wordplay, and dry humour without vulgarity. I enjoy discussing various topics and learning new things. I am happily childfree, am an atheist, speak my mind, and I am against political correctness in speech and writing. I also love cats. I have been totally blind since I was two months old, due to Retinopathy of Prematurity. Some of my interests include studying dandyism, nineteenth-century English grammar, Upper Received Pronunciation, the Italian language, history, the Regency, and opera, particularly singers from prior to the 1950's. I especially love the leggero and lyric tenor voice types. In classical music, I like Baroque through early Romantic. I enjoy coffee, tea, wine, cooking and trying new foods and cuisines, classic literature, nature and historical documentaries, antiques, gardening, hot weather, and playing cards and dice. I prefer antique menswear and accessories (no makeup or feminine clothing).
