January was an epic not success for getting back into yoga. So I had a think about what I want out of yoga. The answer is strength. Physical strength as well as mental/emotional. So let’s start with physical as currently that’s easier.

Went to the playlist I made a couple of years ago of all the long or strength aimed classes in FWFG and started at the top.
My wrists are regretting it but I’m not. I feel kinda elated, and this was a 13 min class.

Last week I commented on one of the FWFG 30 days of yoga videos about how I struggled with a specific type of posture (seated wide legged ones) but had got my blocks out to help me. Soooo many people replied saying they too struggle with these ones.

Amazing how I no longer feel alone and will be able to treat myself a little more kindly when doing those postures now. All because I allowed myself to be vulnerable in public.

Day 8 - Melt

I really needed some TLC today- so this was the perfect practice for me at the perfect time.

Also, always amazed at how a good yoga session can leave me glowing. (There’s no makeup here, just a little chapstick.)

#ywacenter Yeah so Adriene’s idea of holding a plank for three breaths is more five breaths for me and I may have used a bad word or two. But I will say that midsection strength is my greatest challenge and I love that I’m gently sore the next day without feeling punished. Toot toot! That’s my own horn. I just finished Day Two of #ywacenter and I incorporated casting a white light circle just to see what that felt like. As expected, my dog who is made of 100% pure love was able to cross in and out unhindered. He licked my hand through shavasana the ding dong. #YogaWithAdriene #FindWhatFeelsGood #fwfg
