Today was my first “rest” day (non-workout day) in 30 days. It was my fourth year (third year doing it in January) of doing a Yoga with Adriene 30 Day Yoga Journey. And, as always, I tagged on other workouts as well, so I also did a 500m row, a mini-weights workout, and a 20 minute “run” each week.

#YWACenter Deep gratitude to the person who recommended a bedtime yoga practice for days when I can't fit in the regular daily video. Yesterday was lunacy and I didn't get to bed until about 2 hours later than usual, but I did a "yoga in bed" which not only relaxed me but gave me the endorphin rush of being able to check it off in my #BulletJournal . I slept peacefully knowing I did what I could for the day. #YogaWithAdriene #yoga #FindWhatFeelsGood

Folks who are doing Yoga with Adriene's January 30 day program, do you have any plans for what you're going to do next? I remember I really enjoyed the "Home" series a couple of years ago (in fact I bought the shirt to commemorate completing it, lost it, and turned around to see my 21 year old wearing it the other day). Would anyone be interested in doing another 30 days after this?

I’m dropping my pride and holding on to the wall for balance poses from now on. Who’s gonna judge me?

It feels so much better to hold the pose and build strength than falling over and over. Maybe one day I’ll give up that crutch…I know falling is part of the process…but for now that’s how I #FindWhatFeelsGood #YWACenter

Migraine Day Two but improving, and I still made it to the mat for Move. Had some balance issues on side two of the eagle arm lunges but overall proud of myself for doing what I could.

#ywacenter OH KIND. This was the exact day I needed this practice. I’m feeling the corework in my belly and hips, and the gate pose stretches the EXACT hip muscle that hurts.

Today was a barometric pressure headache day. But I’ll tell you, I never get to the end of the day and say “gosh I wish I hadn’t done that yoga video today.” But I often regret skipping it. So grateful for all of you on the path alongside me, no matter where you are in the calendar!

In a big hurry to get yoga in before rehearsal tonight, but once I got on the mat I was absolutely taken out of my busy-ness and into the moment.

Day 8 - Melt

I really needed some TLC today- so this was the perfect practice for me at the perfect time.

Also, always amazed at how a good yoga session can leave me glowing. (There’s no makeup here, just a little chapstick.)
