Melanie and the Pot of Jam, first page illustration

Here’s the illustration from the first page of picture book for 2-4 year old children. It’s about a fruit fly that gets trapped in a pot of strawberry jam and puts on weight while waiting to escape.

The wonderful illustrations are by Nicola Bailey, the illustrator (@NicolaButterfli). She has worked on a number of books with her two daughters.
