I moved my digital stack to Europe

유럽 기반 디지털 인프라로 전환한 경험을 공유하며, 데이터 주권과 GDPR 준수, 프라이버시 중심 서비스 선택의 중요성을 강조한다. 구글 애널리틱스 대신 Matomo, 구글 워크스페이스 대신 Proton Mail, AWS 대신 Scaleway 등 유럽 또는 프라이버시 강화된 대안을 도입해 비용과 데이터 통제권을 확보했다. AI API는 OpenAI에서 파리 기반 Mistral로 전환했고, CDN과 결제는 각각 Cloudflare와 Stripe를 아직 유지 중이나 유럽 대안으로의 전환을 검토 중이다. 전반적으로 유럽 클라우드가 생각보다 경쟁력 있고 실용적임을 보여준다.

Now that I got a #datalakehouse in a #Europeancloud I want more: some actual data to query, #pyspark and notebooks and #datavisualisation. In this blogpost I get Project Jupyter Hub running, I get open data from the #EuropeanParliament and try to visualise that data in #PowerBI. Getting the connection working turned out to be an expensive affair.
