Noch immer ein gleichzeitig Hoffnung aber auch Verzweiflung bringendes Simulationstool: #EnROADS

Damit kann man immer wieder gut "überprüfen", wer mal wieder Schwachsinn erzählt. Oder aber auch, wofür wir kämpfen und was wir damit gewinnen.

This is a bit wonky, but very good in giving you some idea of which things matter with regards to climate emissions and which don’t make all that much of a difference.

#ClimateInteractive and #ProbableFutures presented today about how the #EnROADS #climate scenario simulator can be used with PF's 22.5km-resolution maps of #GlobalWarming impacts for 0.5°C to 3.0°C (above 1850-1900 global avg surface #temperature).

In short, you can use En-ROADS to simulate various mixes of climate/#energy/#EnvironmentalPolicy & see how much #ClimateChange you get, then use PF's maps to see how it affects a given place: temperature, #precipitation, #drought, #wildfire, etc.
